ANALYSIS: It's rare, but there are still times when a player emerges on the fantasy landscape and my response is, "Who?" Such is the case with Ty Buttrey. Originally a fourth-round pick of the Red Sox back in 2012, he washed out as a starter and transitioned to relief last season before being dealt to the Angels at this year's trade deadline for Ian Kinsler. He's been impressive in a limited sample so far, with 19 strikeouts and just one run allowed in 15 innings of work. That's been enough for Mike Scioscia to turn to him for saves down the stretch. Buttrey has locked down four games for the Angels in the past two weeks and looks like their primary option at this point.
