Tua Tagovailoa (QB, MIA) - Week 11 Waiver Wire Pickups

ANALYSIS: I don't know a lot about football but I do know this: Tua Tagovailoa can't lose. He just can't. Tua has started three games while playing in four, and all of those matches ended in a win for the Fins. And I don't have the data to back this up, but my gut is telling me Tua is also undefeated in the fantasy world. That's it. That's the blurb.

No, seriously. Tua has entered the starting-QB realm and the transition from college to pro-football couldn't have been better. What we saw with Joe Burrow and Justin Herbert earlier was not a fluke, and neither is Tua's level of play. Although Tua went down a bit in fantasy points (14.7) compared to his season-high (21.4) a week ago, he still produced as a nice QB2.

Tua didn't have a bad game, don't get it wrong. He still completed 60% of his passing attempts, only he just threw 25 and connected in 15 compared to his 20-of-28 performance in Week 9. Tua passed for 169 yards, two touchdowns (second week in a row), and avoided getting picked. He couldn't do anything on the ground, though, and that was his only stain in the game against the Chargers.

Miami will keep facing sweet teams (in terms of fantasy points allowed to opposing QBs) for three more weeks. They have the 17th, 29th, and 26th best teams in their schedule, so that means they'll face three bottom-half defenses against Tua's position players. Not bad for someone rostered in fewer than half the leagues.

Make Tua a target and must-add in 2QB leagues, and also consider him a more than a good option to stream if you have a hole in Week 11 or 13.
