Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa could return in Week 8. This is incredible news for any fantasy manager who has a Dolphins offensive player on their roster. The once explosive offense has completely collapsed without the fifth-year pro at the helm.
They've scored just 12 points per game this season, worst in the league and a full 1.8 points behind 31st place. Nearly every once-relevant fantasy player on the team has become unstartable, and it's clear that without the former University of Alabama QB, they won't be able to get off the ground.
Luckily, Tagovailoa is reportedly expected to return in Week 8. This would be massive, and could save many fantasy managers' seasons. So what will things be like for the Miami Dolphins star offensive players in fantasy football when Tua Tagovailoa returns to play? Let's find out!

Tua Tagovailoa Fantasy Football Outlook
Week 8 is technically the first week that the 26-year-old quarterback can return to play, so this is a best-case scenario for fantasy managers. While concussions tend to hold players out for just 1-2 weeks, the Hawaiian's history of scary hits to the head led Miami to take extra precautions with their franchise QB.

NFL Insider Dianna Russini reports that he is set to return to practice this week and is likely to make his debut against the Arizona Cardinals. They don't have a great defense, so it will be a solid game for him to make his return. Expect him to have similar numbers to Week 1, where he scored 18.6 PPR fantasy points.
He should have most of his offensive weapons healthy assuming they don't get injured in Week 7. If so, he's a fringe QB1 and should be started in deeper leagues or 2QB leagues. He won't have much rushing upside, but he never has.
Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, De'Von Achane Fantasy Football Outlooks
It goes without saying that star wide receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle will be must-starts when Tagovailoa returns. Hill currently ranks as the WR38 and Waddle as the WR59 in full-PPR, if that tells you how things are going. Head coach Mike McDaniel's offense has been shockingly bad without its starting quarterback.
They're baaaack: Tyreek Hill just caught an 80-yard TD from Tua Tagovailoa.

It's been a far cry from what could have been. We saw Reek put up 26 PPR fantasy points in Week 1, the only full game with Tagovailoa under center. JDubs (Dolphins players' nickname for Waddle) had 16.2 points. We can expect multiple performances like these from these two receivers this season.

Second-year running back De'Von Achane should go back to his old ways as well. He scored 23.0 and 29.5 PPR fantasy points in his first two weeks. He had heavy involvement as a receiver, lining up all over the field. In those two games, he caught all 14 of his targets for 145 yards and a touchdown.

Achane is the engine of the offense and has insane upside in PPR. He hasn't even broken off a huge play yet, and was close to scoring a massive touchdown at one point. Expect more great games from him.
All three should be locked into starting lineups when Tagovailoa returns. Great offense is back on the menu in Miami very soon, and so are many more week-winning performances from Dolphins players!
