BALLER MOVE: Start in 14-Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: FLEX
ANALYSIS: Jonathan Taylor is set to miss yet another game for the Indianapolis Colts, leaving a void in the backfield that Trey Sermon and fellow teammate Tyler Goodson will attempt to fill.
This situation is uncertain for a few reasons. Sermon may be the starter this week, but he has been terribly ineffective as a runner the last two weeks, rushing 28 times for just 67 yards and making six catches for just 25 yards. He's not doing much with his touches.
#Colts RB Trey Sermon (right knee) doesn’t have a pending status on the injury report, meaning he’ll play against the #Dolphins.
I’m curious to see if Indy will stick with Sermon as its main RB. Tyler Goodson, in my opinion, is deserving of more snaps. https://t.co/Kj1UAmDu9j

The Colts' other back, Goodson, has been much more productive in those two games, rushing 13 times for 77 yards and catching seven passes for another 45 yards receiving. There's a lot of speculation that Goodson has earned more touches and could end up getting more snaps than Sermon this week as a result.
The matchup is an elite one as the Dolphins are 31st in the NFL in rushing DVOA defense. However, with Anthony Richardson back under center there might not be much touchdown upside for either back as Richardson likes to run down in the red zone.
Sermon is only a start in the deepest formats if you are desperate and have no one else. Again, the matchup is excellent but Goodson is going to eat into work, he hasn't been that good, and Richardson looms as a touchdown vulture.

The wide receiver position has an advantage over the running back position in PPR scoring formats, typically.
