ANALYSIS: Pittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Trevor Williams continues to prove that he is more than just a streaming option in the fantasy baseball world. He has allowed one earned run, or less, in four straight outings and struck out at least four batters in three consecutive contests.
Furthermore, he is a two start pitcher this week and will face the Reds and Marlins at home. Miami is 30th in runs scored (505 runs in 135 games). They’re also 26th in team wOBA (.302) against right-handed pitchers this season. The Reds are not much better this season and Williams should be owned in all formats. It is also wise to look at him as more than a streamer, holding onto him in all formats for the remainder of the season.
