BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 5% of leagues
ANALYSIS: While Saturday's 0-for-5 showing was forgettable, Trevor Larnach has quietly been swinging a hot bat in recent weeks. Specifically, in the two weeks of action leading up to the oh-fer, he had hit .302 with eight runs, two home runs, nine RBI and a stolen base. That was enough to rank inside the top 70 overall in standard leagues.
For the year, Larnach's numbers are less impressive, if still respectable: .262/.357/.436 with seven homers and 45 R+BI in 52 games. However, his xSLG is over 40 points higher at .478 thanks to fantastic contact quality metrics, and after most often being slotted into the bottom half of the lineup in the first few weeks after his promotion, the rookie is now routinely hitting third or fourth for the Twins. He feels like a potential breakout candidate in the season's second half, especially if he can cut down on the strikeouts
