ANALYSIS: Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Tre Tucker had his best game in his brief NFL career on Thursday night against the Los Angeles Chargers, catching three passes for 59 yards and two touchdowns.
The big question here: was that strong showing a sign of things to come for Tucker, or was it just a product of the Raiders facing an awful Chargers defense? Vegas put up 63 points in that game.
One good sign was that both of Tucker's touchdowns came in the first half, including a 30-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter to put the Raiders up 14-0. He wasn't scoring these in garbage time. He was on the field when the game was still close.
Still, this was just the third time this season that Tucker even played 40% of Vegas' offensive snaps and just the second time he had more than three targets. He's worth adding in deep leagues because of the strong showing last week, but you might not be playing him in your lineup until Week 17 when the Raiders take on the Colts, and that's only if he plays a large role against the Chiefs this upcoming week.
