Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams has been making the best of a terrible situation, providing a steady ability to get open and make plays for his team. He's expressed growing discontent with his situation, though, starting when QB Derek Carr wasn't re-signed by the team. Adams famously fumed about former QB Jimmy Garoppolo last year.
This season, it's much of the same. Adams is stuck on a bad offense with QB Gardner Minshew II at the helm, one of the worst starting quarterbacks in the league, and someone who hadn't had a starting job excluding injury situations in years. Adams has reason to be unsatisfied as the Raiders are a poorly run organization and have been for years.
Will Davante Adams be traded? Did he demand a trade from the Raiders? If he did, where are the best spots for him to land? Let's dive in.

Will Davante Adams Be Traded?
Rumors are continuing to heat up about Adams' potential to be traded. They aren't all smoke and mirrors. It's being reported that teams have been becoming knowledgeable of the possibility that Adams could be up for trade and a rough estimate of the capital that would need to be spent to acquire him.
Teams started to become aware yesterday that Davante Adams could be available in a trade, according to sources. The general projection so far is he could be moved for a third-rounder, possibly more depending on the interest level.

In addition, Adams' discontent has apparently come to a head. Adams himself now prefers to be traded, as Ian Rapoport reports. This shouldn't come as a surprise. Adams probably hasn't liked his situation since Carr left. He's not able to get anywhere close to his potential with Minshew and offensive coordinator Luke Getsy running the show.
🚨 🚨 🚨 #Raiders star WR Davante Adams informed the team that he preferred to be traded, per me and @MikeGarafolo.

The Raiders sit at 2-2, and it's likely the coaching staff knows it would be highly improbable for them to become contenders this season. Trading Adams makes sense. He's not in a position to elevate the team given the quarterback situation, and the Raiders should be looking at drafting a quarterback in next year's draft anyway.
Which Teams Would Be Good Fits For Adams?
New York Jets
This seems like the most obvious choice. So obvious it hurts. Tae wants to reunite with QB Aaron Rodgers, and the Jets' secondary receivers haven't been taking away much coverage from lead WR Garrett Wilson. The Jets offense is struggling and Rodgers loves Davante. Adams himself heavily implied what he wants.
Just 2 months ago… Davante Adams told Shannon Sharpe that if he had to be relocated or reunited with anyone “it will be with Aaron” …

The saying goes "Vegas always knows" and betting odds are hugely in favor of the Jets being the team to land Adams. If Adams is traded, the Jets are the most likely landing spot.

Washington Commanders
The Commanders have Terry McLaurin, but Scary Terry alone isn't enough to make them have an elite receiving corps. The Commanders have plenty of cap space, and they'd be able to absorb whatever part of Adams' contract they'd need to pay. That said, Adams hasn't expressed any interest in playing for them, but QB Jayden Daniels would be a huge upgrade.
What is Adams' Fantasy Football Outlook If He's Traded?
It depends, but it's pretty simple. If he gets a better quarterback, it will be golden. Adams was drafted highly in this year's fantasy drafts, and if he gets Rodgers, Daniels, or another good quarterback, he'll have a much better season than he would with the Raiders. Fantasy managers who drafted Adams should hope for a trade!
