Chris Olave Injury Update
New Orleans Saints wide receiver Chris Olave (head) was diagnosed with a concussion and did not return after exiting the Week 12 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.
With Olave likely to miss next week's contest against the Detroit Lions, the Saints could be without their top three wideouts. Rashid Shaheed left Week 12's game with a thigh injury, and Michael Thomas (knee) is on Injured Reserve.
Amari Cooper Injury Update
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper (rib) was ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's meeting with the Denver Broncos after taking a hard hit in the second half. Fortunately, X-rays were negative, so the wideout appears to have avoided a severe rib injury.
However, the team will likely play it safe with Cooper, meaning he could miss practice during the week. For now, fantasy managers should consider him questionable for Week 13 against the Los Angeles Chargers. But if Cooper isn't active, David Njoku, Cedric Tillman, and Elijah Moore could see more targets.
Baker Mayfield Injury Update
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield (ankle) went 20-for-30 passing for 199 yards, two touchdowns, and a pick during Sunday's loss to the Colts. He added three carries for 14 yards. The signal-caller played well enough for fantasy managers on Sunday, even more so since he exited briefly because of an ankle injury. Per ESPN's Jenna Laine, Mayfield spent a "significant portion of postgame getting treatment."
He was also walking with a visible limp. Nonetheless, Mayfield expects to receive an MRI once the team returns to Tampa, meaning his status for Week 13 versus the Carolina Panthers is up in the air. If he doesn't play, Kyle Trask would presumably take over under center.
Rashid Shaheed Injury Update
New Orleans Saints wide receiver Rashid Shaheed (thigh) exited the Week 12 loss to the Atlanta Falcons early. The Saints found themselves incredibly short-staffed at wide receiver with Shaheed out, Chris Olave (concussion) out, and Michael Thomas (knee) on Injured Reserve.
Rookie A.T. Perry and Lynn Bowden were the Saints' next options at wide receiver. If Olave and Shaheed are in danger of missing next week's game, Perry, Bowden, and Marquez Callaway will likely operate in three-wide sets. Tight ends Juwan Johnson and Taysom Hill would also likely see additional targets.
Dorian Thompson-Robinson Injury Update
Cleveland Browns quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson (head) did not return to Sunday's meeting with the Denver Broncos after leaving in the fourth quarter. The signal-caller took a brutal hit in the second half and was taken to the blue medical tent. Unfortunately, further tests revealed he suffered a concussion, so his day was over.
That said, fantasy managers likely aren't shocked by the latest report, considering DTR had a bloody lip and looked visibly dazed. But now the question remains if he'll be available in Week 13 against the Los Angeles Rams. If not, P.J. Walker would likely stay under center. Joe Flacco is on the team's practice squad, so there's also a chance he could start.
