It's too early to draw conclusions about Week 12 since these players just picked up ailments, but it's never too early to at least take a look at the group of key guys to prepare for waiver wire Wednesday or Thursday.

Cooper Kupp Injury Update
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp (ankle) did not return to Sunday's matchup with the Seahawks. The wideout, who caught his only target for 11 yards, exited in the first half with an ankle injury.
Of course, the situation isn't ideal, considering Kupp missed the first four games of the 2023-24 campaign because of a hamstring injury. Nonetheless, fantasy managers will eagerly await an update ahead of the Week 12 contest versus the Arizona Cardinals. If Kupp doesn't suit up for that one, Austin Trammell, Tutu Atwell, and especially Puka Nacua should see more targets.
De'Von Achane Injury Update
Miami Dolphins running back De'Von Achane (knee) didn't return to Sunday's win over the Las Vegas Raiders. According to head coach Mike McDaniel, the rookie's "knee got landed on," and although he wanted to return, he was held out for precautionary measures, considering the injury was to the same knee that kept him out for four games. McDaniel added that he received "positive feedback from trainers" regarding the ailment.
But it's possible Achane won't be available for the Black Friday AFC East matchup with the New York Jets. If that's the case, Salvon Ahmed or Jeff Wilson Jr. would get the scraps left over by Raheem Mostert.
Geno Smith Injury Update
Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said he doesn't know if quarterback Geno Smith (elbow, triceps) will be able to play on Thanksgiving on Thursday night in Week 12 against the division-rival San Francisco 49ers after he injured his right elbow/triceps in Sunday's loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Carroll described Smith's injury as a bruise to the lower tricep/back of his right elbow.
The good news is that Smith was able to return late in the second half in the 17-16 loss to the Rams and almost led the team to a game-winning drive. But with a short turnaround in Week 12, backup Drew Lock might need to make his first start of the year. Even if Smith is cleared to play on Turkey Day, he'll be a QB2 to fade against the strong Niners defense. Smith went 22-for-34 for 233 yards and one touchdown on Sunday.
Kenneth Walker III Injury Update
Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said that running back Kenneth Walker III (oblique) has an "oblique strain that was legit." The Seahawks don't know how much time he'll miss, making him questionable to play in Week 12 on a short week next Thursday evening against the division-rival San Francisco 49ers. Walker grabbed at his left oblique during a rushing attempt in the first half of Sunday's 17-16 loss to the Los Angeles Rams and didn't return in the second half.
The 23-year-old ended up finishing with four carries for 18 yards while catching one pass for a loss of two yards. It was obviously an extremely disappointing outing for his fantasy managers and now seems likely to miss at least one game for Seattle. It means that rookie Zach Charbonnet will be a popular waiver-wire pickup early next week. Charbonnet operated as the lead back after Walker was hurt and had 15 carries for 47 yards while catching six passes for an extra 22 yards.
Aaron Jones Injury Update
Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones (knee) will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the severity of the injury suffered in the Week 11 win over Los Angeles Chargers. Head coach Matt LaFleur stated the veteran was "in good spirits."
Even better, the training staff determined his ACL was intact. However, Jones isn't out of the woods by any stretch, so there's a chance he won't play in the Thanksgiving AFC North clash with the Lions. With Emanuel Wilson (shoulder) also getting banged up in this one, AJ Dillon may see plenty of work out of the backfield.
