J.K. Dobbins Injury Update

Baltimore Ravens running back J.K. Dobbins (ankle) officially tore his Achilles during Week 1, an MRI confirmed. Head coach John Harbaugh announced the unfortunate news postgame. Dobbins exited in the second half and was unable to return.

This injury is season-ending, meaning Dobbins will have played in just eight games from 2021 through 2023. Gus Edwards and Justice Hill will lead the backfield going forward.

Anthony Richardson Injury Update

According to NFL Media's Tom Pelissero, Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson (knee) was injured during the loss to Jacksonville on Sunday. The signal-caller looked decent in this one, throwing for 223 yards, one touchdown, and one interception while running for 40 yards off 10 carries.

Fortunately, it's just a bruise, meaning Richardson should be on the field in Week 2 versus the Houston Texans, barring a setback. That said, the rookie will likely have more tests done over the next few days, and he'll probably appear on the injury report heading into the matchup.

Diontae Johnson Injury Update

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson (hamstring) was ruled out of the Week 1 game versus the San Francisco 49ers early. Pittsburgh wasn't been able to get much done on offense and were left without their top receiver on Sunday.

Allen Robinson, George Pickens, and Pat Freiermuth will see a heavier-than-normal dose of targets if Johnson has to miss time moving forward. Calvin Austin figures to command an uptick in snaps, too.

Jakobi Meyers Injury Update

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers (head) is being evaluated for a concussion after taking a helmet-to-helmet hit late in Sunday's victory over the Denver Broncos. Depending on the results, Meyers could be in danger of missing Week 2 against the Buffalo Bills.

The veteran receiver put together a solid outing in Week 1, catching nine passes for 81 yards and two touchdowns in his Las Vegas debut. Meyers will be in the WR3 conversation next week if he is cleared to play.
