ANALYSIS: Frazier has the difficult job of attempting to become the Mets first everyday third baseman since their beloved captain, David Wright. So far, Frazier has done just that. The Toddfather is hitting .282 with an eye-popping .423 OBP and a solid eight RBI in the first eleven games of the season. He blasted his first two homers of the season Friday night against the Brewers and he has already swiped a bag, something he did not do in his 66-game stint with the Yankees last season.
Hitting in the clean-up spot for a Mets team that's gotten off to a very hot start, he will continue to see everyday ABs in a good offensive situation. Given that he has hit at least 27 homers for four straight seasons, look for Frazier to pick things up in the power department as he gets used to his new home in Flushing.
While he may not be a great option as a starting 3B in all formats, he is a solid option at a CI in all formats. As the Mets' lineups continues to progress, look for Frazier to get even more run production opportunities.
