Welcome to our PrizePicks MLB DFS prop picks for Wednesday, April 19, 2023. The 2023 MLB season is underway here at RotoBaller, and we have you covered with some terrific plays from our friends over at PrizePicks.
PrizePicks is a great DFS fantasy picks site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.
At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money.

PrizePicks Over/Under DFS Props Contests
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game.
The second game is known as Single Stat. For MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props in which you determine if the pitcher in question will go over or under their projected strikeout total.
You can mix and match players from different types of game in your entry, or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!

Drew Rasmussen more than 5.5 strikeouts
Rasmussen had a solid two starts against Oakland and Washington prior to his five-earned run performance against the Blue Jays in his most recent start. He struck out seven and eight in those first two games, respectively, and should be in a good spot today against the Reds. Cincinnati is striking out at a rate of 23.7% vs. right-handers over the previous two weeks, which ranks in the bottom half of baseball. They are also posting just an 88 wRC+ mark, which should keep Rasmussen in the game.
Luis Garcia less than 5.0 strikeouts
This is a relatively high number for Garcia as he has managed to eclipse this number in just one of his first three starts of the season. The matchup today is a very difficult one in the Toronto Blue Jays. Over the previous two weeks, Toronto has struck out at a clip of just 22.8% while also posting a wRC+ mark of 116 vs. right-handed pitching.
Ke'Bryan Hayes more than 9.0 hitter fantasy score
We are going out on a bit of a limb here for Hayes but for good reason. Over the previous week, Hayes has posted a 1.084 OPS with three stolen bases. He will be at Coors Field facing Austin Gomber in this one, which is also good news. Since 2021, Gomber has allowed a whopping 34 home runs and 42 doubles to right-handed hitters. While the hitter fantasy score is the only play currently available for Hayes, it might be worth it to wait and see if a hits+runs+RBI play comes out later this morning.
Ronald Acuna Jr. more than 8.5 hitter fantasy score
We are going back to the Acuna well today! Acuna has been on an absolute tear as he has posted a 1.121 OPS with four stolen bases over the previous week. He will be up against the struggling Nick Martinez, who has allowed four home runs and 10 walks across his first 76 batters faced this season. Acuna has managed to rip off seven stolen bases thus far in 2023, so if he is able to get on and snag one today, that would go a long way toward this fantasy total, in addition to any other damage he may cause.
