Today's PrizePicks MLB DFS Prop Picks - Over/Under Props for Tuesday, April 4th

Welcome to our PrizePicks MLB DFS prop picks for Tuesday, April 4th, 2023. The 2023 MLB Season is underway here at RotoBaller have you covered with some terrific plays from our friends over at PrizePicks.

PrizePicks is a great DFS fantasy picks site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.

Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best, and easiest to win, MLB DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props in which you determine if the pitcher in question will go over or under their projected strikeout total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!

Featured Promo: Our friends at PrizePicks are hooking you up. Get a 100% instant deposit match up to $100 using promo code BALLER with your first deposit, and also a free year of RotoBaller Premium access ($199 value)! MLB DFS Prop Picks for 4/4/23

Amed Rosario more than 7.0 fantasy score

Rosario has a solid matchup against Oakland left-hander J.P. Sears tonight. Sears has struggled against right-handed hitters by allowing eight bombs and eight doubles across facing 232 batters in 2022.

Rosario, on the other hand, has posted an .832 OPS against left-handed pitching since the 2021 season. Rosario is also fresh off a game in which he went 2-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored.

Kenta Maeda more than 4.5 strikeouts

I want to keep attacking the Marlins as they have posted a 30.2% K rate vs. right-handed pitching over their first 149 plate appearances. Maeda has not pitched in the regular season since 2021, but he posted 113 strikeouts across 106 1/3 innings pitched during that season.

He had a nice final tune-up in the Spring as well when he struck out five Yankees over five innings of work.

Andrew Heaney more than 6.5 strikeouts

Heaney is certainly capable of this number as he struck out at least seven in nine starts in 2022. He is up against the Orioles, who have posted a 32.3% K rate vs. left-handed across their first 31 plate appearances. in 2023.

They also posted the fourth-highest rate in 2022 with a mark of 25.2%. Heaney on the books is also listed at -135, so we are getting some good odds here.

German Marquez more than 4.5 strikeouts

I do not like to make a habit of attacking the Dodgers with pitchers, but this number on Marquez is set rather low. He struck out at least five in 18 starts in 2022 and again in his first start of 2023 last week against the Padres.

While the Dodgers have not been a team to consistently attack, they are posting the eighth-highest K rate against right-handers to being the season with a mark of 26.1% through their first 161 plate appearances.
