NHL DFS Analysis and Picks for 6/24/24

The Stanley Cup Finals are not disappointing with big swings for both Edmonton and Florida. Edmonton has dug deep and pushed the 2023-2024 season to its ultimate ending, the two best-spoken words in sports...GAME SEVEN!! Can the Panthers claw their way to franchise history, or will the Oilers successfully change history, becoming the first team since the 1942 Maple Leafs to win the final four games of the Stanley Cup Final after being down 3-0?

During the playoffs, it is much more common to find low-scoring and heavy-hitting games. SCRATCH THAT! This year we have seen plenty of back-and-forth blowouts and teams getting swept! I will do my best to guide you through this showdown slate on DraftKings and FanDuel starting at 8:00 p.m. EDT.

Edmonton Oilers at Florida Panthers: Panthers Lead Series 3-3

DraftKings and FanDuel Captain - NHL DFS Picks

Warren Foegele - DK $7.8K || FD $8K

Opponent - Florida Panthers

Make that three straight articles that winger Warren Foegele is making an appearance at the ‘CAPTAIN’ position. Foegele has been a force to be reckoned with ever since he got promoted to Connor McDavid’s line, posting two goals, three assists, seven shots, and two blocked shots in his last five games. The one worry about his performances is that they are heavily point reliant with only seven shots in five games. However, as mentioned, Foegele has thrived since being placed back with McDavid, and as long as they are lighting the lamp, his shot volume is nothing but the smallest of worries.

DraftKings and FanDuel Flex Players - NHL DFS Picks

Evan Bouchard - DK $8.4K || FD $13.5K

Opponent - Edmonton Oilers

Game 7 is expected to be a bloody goal-fest, a scenario that suits Even Bouchard’s two-way game to perfection. Bouchard’s point production has been spotty at best, with two donuts in his last five performances. However, he has produced five assists, 11 shots, and nine blocked shots. As mentioned, with this being Game 7, EVERYONE is putting their bodies on the line. Expect Bouchard to produce one point, three shots, and three blocked shots.

Aleksander Barkov - DK $8.2K || FD $14K

Opponent - Edmonton Oilers

If there is one player who has been consistent on the ice but not scoring in the Stanley Cup Final, it is Aleksander Barkov. Throughout the center's most recent five games, he had two goals, one assist, 10 shots, and six blocked shots. If the Panthers are to win Game 7, they will need Barkov to have a career-altering performance.

Evan Rodrigues - DK $5.8K || FD $9.5K

Opponent - Edmonton Oilers

Similar to Oilers winger Warren Foegele, Evan Rodrigues has been thriving on his respective top line. In his last five appearances, he has three goals, two assists, 10 shots and five blocked shots. As previously mentioned, Game 7 is expected to be a back-and-forth goal-fest. Rostering players like Rodrigues and Foegele leaves plenty of salary left over to pay up for the stars of each team.
