The top daily fantasy hockey lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on April 26, 2025. Brandon's NHL DFS goalies, value plays, stacks, and power play picks.

Welcome, RotoBallers! My name is Brandon, and I'll be writing both The First-Serve and The Kick-Off for tennis and soccer. As always, I'll give you the best tools to succeed and the info you need to build the best lineups possible for your GPP and cash game NHL contests on both DraftKings and FanDuel.

Today, I'll bring my NHL lineup picks, analysis, and advice for NHL DFS contests on DraftKings and FanDuel for Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. EST. Be sure also to check out RotoBaller's awesome NHL tools, including our Lineup Optimizer, Research Station, Projections, and DFS Cheat Sheets!

If you have any questions on today's slate, bankroll management, GPP strategy, cash game strategy, or anything else, don’t hesitate to email me at [email protected], via X @df_solutions, or in our premium Slack chat. Best of luck!

NHL DFS Analysis And Picks For 4/26/25

Today, we have a four-game slate, and the Battle of Florida continues on. Tonight’s slate offers value across the board, allowing for creativity when building lineups.

 I will do my best to guide you through this four-game slate on DraftKings and FanDuel starting at 7:00 p.m. EST.

DISCLOSURE: Make sure to monitor the NHL news feeds for the latest player status and injury news. This becomes more important with players sitting for rest ahead of the playoffs!

NHL Stanley Cup Playoff Series Records:

  • Tampa Bay Lightning at Florida Panthers - Florida Leads 2-0
  • Toronto Maple Leafs at Ottawa Senators - Toronto Leads 3-0
  • Vegas Golden Knights at Minnesota Wild - Minnesota Leads 2-1
  • Dallas Stars at Colorado Avalanche - Dallas Leads 2-1

DraftKings And FanDuel Goalies - NHL DFS Picks

Anthony Stolarz - DK $7.6K || FD $7.4K

Opponent - at Ottawa Senators

Anthony Stolarz has been highly consistent to start the 2025 NHL Playoffs. In his three starts, he has a 3-0 record, a 1.95 Goals Against Average, and a 0.926 Save Percentage.

Throughout the playoffs thus far, the Ottawa Senators are a top-ten team in Shots Per 60 and a bottom-five team in Goals Per 60 and Expected Goals Per 60. As long as Stolarz can produce a similar performance or better in comparison to his first three starts, he will reach value.

Others To Consider (Cash/GPP):

  • Sergei Bobrovsky (DK $7.9K || FD $7.8K) vs. Tampa Bay Lightning
  • Filip Gustavsson (DK $7.4K || FD $7.1K) vs. Vegas Golden Knights

DraftKings And FanDuel Centers - NHL DFS Picks

Jack Eichel - DK $7.2K || FD $8.1K

Opponent - at Minnesota Wild

Jack Eichel is goalless to start his 2025 NHL Playoffs campaign. However, that is not expected to continue much longer. He and the Golden Knights' top line are hard-matching against Minnesota’s top line and generated an Expected Goals Per 60 of 0.33 in Game Three. Furthermore, throughout the series' first three games, Wild netminder Filip Gustavsson is generating a -2.4 Goals Saved Above Expected Per 60.

Eichel is due for positive regression, and Vegas must win this to even the series before heading home for Game Five. Expect the center to produce his first points of the 2025 playoffs.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Aleksander Barkov (DK $6.7K || FD $7.3K) vs. Tampa Bay Lightning
  • Matt Duchene (DK $4.5K || FD $6.8K) at Colorado Avalanche

DraftKings And FanDuel Wings - NHL DFS Picks

William Nylander - DK $6.8K || FD $7.3K

Opponent - at Ottawa Senators

William Nylander has extended his point streak to four points in three games. In the first three games of the Ottawa series, the winger has produced one goal, three assists, six shots, and two blocked shots. Despite his point production, his shot volume is concerning.

As long as he and the rest of the second line of the Toronto Maple Leafs continue to produce, his shot volume will not be as much of an issue. However, his ceiling will remain limited until he can generate more shots. With many still targeting his teammate Auston Matthews (DK $9.2K || FD $K), Nylander and the second line will remain underowned.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Matthew Tkachuk (DK $7.4K || FD $7.8K) vs. Tampa Bay Lightning
  • Ridley Greig (DK $3.6K || FD $4.7K) vs. Ottawa Senators

DraftKings And FanDuel Defensemen - NHL DFS Picks

Alex Pietrangelo - DK $4.5K || FD $5.5K

Opponent - at Minnesota Wild

Alex Pietrangelo continues to produce, and his salary has dropped. Make it make sense….or don’t. As long as the veteran defenseman’s salary is under $5K on DraftKings, he will remain a highly coveted ‘value’ pick at all positions. In his three appearances in the Minnesota series, he has accumulated one goal, two assists, five shots, and eight blocked shots.

Pietrangelo has yet to be activated in the offense, and tonight may be the night that happens. As mentioned, Vegas needs to win this to even the series. If the two-way defenseman can get going on both sides of the puck, he will quickly become one of the most valued defenseman in the 2025 NHL playoffs.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Miro Heiskanen (DK $5K || FD $5K) at Colorado Avalanche
  • Brock Faber (DK $4.1K || FD $5K) vs. Vegas Golden Knights
