Today, I will bring my NHL lineup picks, analysis, and advice for NHL DFS contests on DraftKings and FanDuel. The games on December 21st, 2022, start at 7:00 PM EST. We have a busy Wednesday with seven games. Several matchups will be intriguing to follow throughout the night. I will do my best to navigate you through a heavy Wednesday slate which starts at 7:00 PM EST.
NHL DFS Goalies
Logan Thompson- DK $8.2K | FD $8.5K
Opponent - Arizona Coyotes
The 25-year-old allowed three goals on 24 shots in a 5-2 loss to the Islanders Saturday. The last two goals were on an empty net. Thompson has one outing this season against the Coyotes, where he picked up a 4-1 win on November 17th. This could be a favorable matchup for Thompson as Arizona is awful away from home with a 6-12-3 record.

NHL DFS Centers
Connor McDavid -DK $9.8K | FD $10.7K
Opponent - Dallas Stars
Connor McDavid has just one point against Dallas this season, with the two teams meeting once so far. However, the centerman has at least a point in 13 consecutive games. McDavid is averaging 1.94 points per game, which is a career-high for the centerman. He has 132 shots on goals while collecting three game-winning goals. For DFS players McDavid should be picked anytime he steps on the ice, as he leads the NHL with 64 points.
Jack Hughes -DK $8.0K| FD $9.4K
Opponent - Florida Panthers
Despite New Jersey losing four games in a row, centerman Jack Hughes has been still producing points consistently. Hughes scored a goal and added two assists during the four-game losing streak. In addition, he leads the Devils by a wide margin in shots on goal with 132. New Jersey is playing back-to-back nights, but Hughes had seven shots on goal and a tally on Tuesday against Carolina. The centerman could easily continue to put up points against Florida.

NHL DFS Wings
Jason Robertson -DK $8.3K | FD $10.1K
Opponent - Edmonton Oilers
Jason Robertson collected a goal and added six shots on goal in a 2-1 win over Columbus on Monday. The 23-year-old winger has 24 tallies, 23 helpers, and 135 shots on goal in 33 Dallas games. The Stars are playing against Edmonton at home, who are 4-4-2 in their last ten contests.
Kirill Kaprizov -DK $9.2K| FD $9.9K
Opponent - Anaheim Ducks
Kaprizov has been on fire, recording two goals, and four assists in the last two games. He has a four-game point streak, and the Russian winger has logged at least a point in five of six contests. In Minnesota's two meetings against Anaheim this season, Kaprizov has unloaded on them, scoring three goals and adding 14 shots on goal.

NHL DFS Defensemen
Roman Josi- DK $8.5 | FD $8.9K
Opponent - Chicago Blackhawks
Nashville Predators defenseman Roman Josi failed to tally a point in his last three outings. However, in those previous three games, the veteran defenseman has 12 shots on goal. The perennial all-star defenseman should be able to get back on the scoresheet against Chicago, as he has been a consistent offensive contributor throughout his career. Josi and his teammates have a favorable matchup against Chicago, which has the worst record in the NHL and has lost seven consecutive contests.
Cale Makar- DK $7.5K | FD $7.6K
Opponent - Montreal Canadiens
Makar couldn't register a point in a 1-0 win over the Islanders on Monday. However, Makar had five hits and four shots on goal. He has seven goals and 21 assists in 30 games. Playing in his fourth NHL season, the Alberta native is always a player that should be one to pick as a defenseman for DFS managers.
