Welcome to our PrizePicks NBA DFS prop picks for Wednesday, April 5th, 2023. The 2022-2023 NBA season is rolling along, and our friends over at PrizePicks still have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.
Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best and easiest-to-win NBA DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit of up to $100.
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for Wednesday, April 5th.

Cam Johnson MORE 16.5 Points
With so many teams playing on the second night of a back to back, it’s always easy to pick on the worst of the bunch. Cam Johnson and Mikal Bridges thrive as the workhorse-hustle players that never seem to get tired and Detroit gives up a ton of easy looks to those types of players.
It’s easy to assume that Johnson will be able to do most of his work from the outside-in, but he won’t have to worry about shooting when the Pistons frontcourt offers so little resistance in terms of protecting the rim.
Bridges should end up the leading scorer for Brooklyn, but Johnson will have no problems carving himself out 20-points against this defense through basic back-door looks and in transition.
De’Aaron Fox MORE 34.5 Pts+Rebs+Asts
While the Mavericks are struggling to figure things out and cement a playoff position, it sure has been fun to bet against them. This last week Dallas has been a bottom-five defense and their weakest points continue to be their inability to protect the rim and effectively rebound.
So why is Domantas Sabonis not listed here? Well, because you should already know to bet his overs while De’Aaron Fox should hit his as well. Fox has taken 23 shots in both of his last games and in the most recent contest his usage shot up to 39% despite not having a particularly good game.
He’s scraping at triple-doubles every night and playing Dallas gives him an across the board boost, so until Sacramento really pulls the plug on their starters all the over bets look great from both a numbers and matchup perspective.
Immanuel Quickley MORE 25.5 Points
The real bet here is an Immanuel Quickley 3-PT ladder, but PrizePicks knows better than to offer his 3-PT makes since the potential is so high against the Pacers.
Even if he has a bad game and doesn’t make a single shot, there is little chance Quickley is taking fewer than six or seven three-pointers and that’s only if he can’t hit.
Until the Knicks are healthy again, Quickley is the go-to guy and has the green-light to put up big numbers even after two underwhelming games.
Other Recommendations
- Bennedict Mathurin MORE 18.5 Points
- Keegan Murray MORE 24.5 Fantasy Score
- Harrison Barnes MORE 4.0 Rebounds
