Happy Wednesday RotoBallers, and welcome to our new series covering RIVAL Fantasy Best Ball daily action for the MLB season! We will be covering some of our favorite value players and sleepers that can help you win your league.
MLB best ball is similar to your everyday normal fantasy baseball leagues except you draft your team and don't have to worry about setting lineups. There is no need to stress over free-agent pickups or trying to make a trade with one of your league mates. You just draft your team, kick back, and enjoy the season.
RIVAL Fantasy does take a 10% rake but each draft type is snake and your timer is 45 seconds. There's no reason to have to wait 7 hours and 22 minutes for Billy to finally take his first pitcher. Quick and easy draft to get through, which ultimately means more drafts to do. Check here for the updated rules and scoring.

RIVAL Fantasy MLB Best Ball Value Players
Eugenio Suarez, 3B - Arizona Diamondbacks
Eugenio Suarez has been in a slump recently but seems to be back on track with his performance against the St. Louis Cardinals. On Monday, Suarez went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. Kyle Gibson will be on the mound for St. Louis and has had some struggles already this season. He has pitched 25 innings with a 5.04 ERA in four games. He has a 5.04 K/9 rate and a 3.60 BB/9 rate, which is a great advantage for Suarez and this Diamondbacks lineup.
Cal Raleigh, C - Seattle Mariners
Cal Raleigh has a strong matchup Wednesday against Texas Rangers starting pitcher Jon Gray. Raleigh has been seeing the plate well and has recorded three homers in his last five games. He has a batting average of .258 (17-for-66) with 10 runs, 11 RBI, five homers, nine walks, and 22 strikeouts. It was a tough start to the season but the Mariners catcher has turned things around and seen the plate well in recent games.
Jung Hoo Lee, CF - San Francisco Giants
Jung Hoo Lee has made an impact for the San Francisco Giants right away this season. He's currently batting .284, going 25-for-88 with three doubles, two homers, seven RBI, 13 runs, eight walks, and nine strikeouts. Lee will see New York Mets pitcher Sean Manaea on the mound Wednesday but he has hit lefties well so far. In 27 at-bats, he has recorded eight hits with one homer and three RBI while slashing .296/.286/.407.

RIVAL Fantasy MLB Best Ball Sleepers
Nick Senzel, 3B - Washington Nationals
Nick Senzel has not had the strongest start to the season, but with the series against the Los Angeles Dodgers, he should find some rhythm. Landon Knack will be on the mound Wednesday and with it being his second start of the season, Washington could take advantage. Senzel is batting .211 (4-for-19) through six games with one homer, one run, one walk, and seven strikeouts. Nothing that looks appealing to the eye, but with this being a home game, he will be alright. He is batting .250 at home compared to .182 on the road and also recorded his one home run with two runs at home.
Carlos Santana, 1B - Minnesota Twins
Carlos Santana is a risky draft pick and overall not the prettiest. Santana is just 9-for-64 (.141) on the season with one double, two RBI, six walks, and 15 strikeouts. However, Santana will be facing Garrett Crochet, who will be on the mound for the Chicago White Sox. Crochet has a .561 ERA, allowing 20 hits, 16 runs, and five homers in 25 2/3 innings through five games. The Twins should be able to attack Crochet throughout the game but also early on, giving Santana a matchup that favors him.
Blake Perkins, RF - Milwaukee Brewers
Blake Perkins has seen the plate well all season long and should continue to do so in the series against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Perkins is 17-for-51 (.333) with three doubles, two homers, six RBI, five walks, and 13 strikeouts. He has at least one hit in four of his last five games with multiple doubles. With Pittsburgh having Quinn Priester on the mound Wednesday, it should benefit Perkins once again. Priester was blown-up in his first start of the season, allowing seven hits, three homers, and ending with an 8.31 ERA. The Brewers will be ready to feast against the righty on Wednesday, which makes Perkins a nice pick.
