ANALYSIS: It's a week for Knickerbocker waiver wire pickups. Hardaway did his best impression of his father on Saturday to the tune of 25 points with 6 boards, 5 assists and 5 triples in a losing effort. The former Michigan Wolverine will be one of the biggest benefactors of the inevitable Knick strip down of the season. Though his numbers are down from a promising rookie season last year, Hardaway shoots best from the field when his minutes are over 20 and best from three point territory when he's playing more than 40 minutes per game. As long as Hardaway’s minutes stay high, he should regain his confidence with every shot he takes. He’s a strong second or third option at forward for the remainder of the season.
