Analysis: 23-year old Tim Anderson may have his issues at the plate for the Chicago White Sox, but in addition to his competence in the field, he has waded through his plate approach woes to some solid production in terms of power and base running. Last season he had nine HR and ten steals in twelve attempts. This year, while his OPS of .666 is considerably below his mark from last year at .738, he has still managed to accumulate six homers and five stolen bases in 251 AB in 2017. Anderson has always been a pretty reliable hitter in general throughout his prominent career in the minors, and considering his improvement in both BB% and K%, Anderson appears to be a worthwhile option moving forward in deep leagues.
