As the Seattle Mariners travel to take on the Detroit Tigers with a record of 71-58, placing them 2nd in the AL West division. His batting average allowed of .277 compared to other pitchers. Per 9 innings, Gonzales is giving up an average of 1.35 home runs, well above the MLB average. Overall, he has notched 79 strikeouts on a strikeout percentage of 13.0%. Thus far, Marco Gonzales has had problems with walks, averaging 2.75 per 9 innings.
