There weren't many surprises yesterday in the NFL Divisional Round as both favorites won, though the Chiefs were sweating a little with Patrick Mahomes getting banged up and the Jags failing to go away. I think today we could see at least one upset, maybe two. The Cowboys are the underdog I am backing the most, but I am going to focus mainly on props here today for these two Divisional Round contests.
This year, I started my own free sports betting newsletter, and the good people here at RotoBaller are allowing me to share my picks and data with you here in this space! You can access the free substack here and sign up for daily emails in addition to viewing the picks daily here on the RotoBaller website.
In this article, I'll be providing my favorite NFL betting picks for the NFL Divisional Round games on Sunday, January 22nd. The odds on these bets vary from book to book and are constantly changing. I primarily use FanDuel and DraftKings sportsbooks, but I would strongly encourage you to shop for the best odds at whatever books you use daily. I would also advise checking back later in the week as I may add bets depending on odds changing or specific props becoming available after I first post.

NFL Betting Picks: Player Props for Divisional Round
Deebo Samuel OVER 16.5 rushing yards (-115)
I think we see Deebo involved in the run game today as San Francisco tries to come up with ways to scheme him the ball and get creative on offense. This number of his is one that he can beat in one or two carries if he gets into the second level.
Dalton Schultz OVER 42.5 receiving yards
I also like Schultz today for the Cowboys. The Niners have been solid against TEs, but Schultz has really come on late in the season to establish himself as one of Dak’s go-to-guys and they will split him out or line him up in the slot, too, as he’s athletic enough to win those matchups out there.
Joe Mixon OVER 25.5 receiving yards
Mixon has hit this number in three of his last four and I think the game script(s) here (either playing from behind or going score for score with Buffalo in a shootout) line up well with the idea of him catching a lot of passes today.
Anytime Touchdown Scorers
Dawson Knox (+175 DK), First TD Scorer (+1100 - .25 unit)
Knox has a TD in…five straight games! And he had the first TD last week, so why not roll the dice on him having it again this week?
Receptions
Gabe Davis OVER 3.5 (-135)
CeeDee Lamb OVER 5.5 (-145)
Joe Mixon OVER 3.5 (-135)
I am double-dipping on Mixon today with his receptions and receiving yards, but I really think that the pass rush from Buffalo against the banged-up Bengals offensive line is going to lead to Burrow dumping it off to Mixon quite a bit.
Four receptions for Gabe Davis feels like an easy one, though with Davis we know that’s never the case. Knox and Isaiah McKenzie will be targeted, too, but Davis played well last week and is a guy that Allen likes to get the ball to down the field. I think he’s ready for another solid day.
Lamb should be targeted heavily and I mentioned in yesterday’s piece that the theme this weekend was "slot receivers" vs. teams with good corners on the outside. We saw those guys (Kirk, James, Kelce - who is basically a slot receiver at this point or is at least used in nearly the same way) all do well and I think Lamb has a big game, too.
I hope you find my picks helpful and profitable! Thanks for checking out my picks and content here at RotoBaller!
