Football season is back! Whether you like to bet game totals, sides, or player props, I have something in here for you, and try to cover a little bit of everything!
This year, I started my own free sports betting newsletter, and the good people here at RotoBaller are allowing me to share my picks and data with you here in this space! You can access the free substack here and sign up for daily emails in addition to viewing the picks daily here on the RotoBaller website.
In this article, I'll be providing my favorite NFL betting picks for week three of the 2022 NFL season. The odds on these bets vary from book to book and are constantly changing. I primarily use FanDuel and DraftKings sportsbooks, but I would strongly encourage you to shop for the best odds at whatever books you use daily. I would also advise checking back later in the week as I may add bets depending on odds changing or specific props becoming available after I first post.

NFL Betting Picks: Player Props for Week 3
Dameon Pierce over 60.5 rushing yards (-114 FD)
I like the rookie’s match-up this week against the Bears and he looked really good last week, turning his 15 carries into 69 yards. He’s clearly won the battle for the RB1 spot and Houston seems committed to running the ball.
Jalen Hurts over 50.5 rushing yards (-114 FD)
It’s so effortless for Hurts to scramble and pick up huge chunks, and it’s become a major part of his game. They also have some designed runs for him, too. This Washington defense hasn’t stopped anyone so far and the Eagles look ready to roll up a ton of yardage and points this Sunday.
Tua Tagovailoa over 250 passing yards (-130 FD)
I toyed with going over 275 for plus odds, and you certainly can do that as I think Miami is going to have to pass a lot again this week as they’re not likely to stop the Buffalo offensive juggernaut. The Bills’ secondary is down several players, too, helping soften the match-up a bit.
Anytime Touchdowns
Joe Mixon ( -140 FD)
Leonard Fournette (-110 FD)
Jalen Hurts (-120 FD)
I am banking on Mixon and Fournette both getting in the end zone this week. As the top two leaders in touches per game, both also handle the goal-line work and get work in the passing game.
Hurts is such a rushing threat down around the goalline that I think we keep seeing him run in a score nearly every week. Even if it’s not an RPO from inside the 10, he has the ability to break off long scrambles, too.
Receptions
A little bit of juice on all these guys this week, but their target shares support that and I like the spots for all of them to keep up their early season production.
Amon-Ra St. Brown over 6.5 (-130 DK)
Stefon Diggs over 6.5 (-120 DK)
Curtis Samuel over 4.5 (-120 DK)
Christian Kirk over 4.5 (-140 DK)
I hope you find my data and picks helpful and profitable! Thanks for checking out my picks and content here at RotoBaller!
