Three Most Improved NFL Rosters From Last Season - 2024 NFL Outlook

C.J. Stroud - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Who are the three most improved rosters ahead of the 2024 NFL season? Aidan takes a look at the teams that are most improved this offseason. Read the 2024 NFL outlook.

The 2024 NFL schedule is officially out now, and we're all looking at potential scenarios and doing our best to predict how the new season will play out. Nothing can beat the sense of anticipation as we move closer and closer towards the opening night.

Of course, some teams have been very active and successful in the offseason and will see a big change in their fortunes this season. Three teams in particular have done a great job and are looking to improve upon their records.

Without further ado, here are three teams who have bolstered their playing squads in 2024 and should be much better than they were in 2023.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Chicago Bears

After a disastrous 0-4 start to the 2023 season, the Bears went 7-6 for the rest of the season and showed that they could beat bad teams, a very underrated ability to have in the NFL. They went 6-4 against non-playoff teams last year and will have nine games against teams who didn't make the playoffs last season in the upcoming campaign.

With a new-look roster boasting the likes of Keenan Allen, D'Andre Swift, Kevin Byard, Rome Odunze, and Caleb Williams to go along with the returning D.J. Moore and Cole Kmet, the Bears can shock a lot of people this year.

New York Jets

The Jets were supposed to be the most improved team of 2023, but then Aaron Rodgers got hurt just four snaps into his Jets debut. Now, Rodgers is back which should catapult the team from their 7-10 finish last year to playoff (and even Super Bowl) contention. The Jets front office also saw how Rodgers was let down by his offensive line when he went down with the injury, and have spent big to bolster the O-Line.

Adding Tyron Smith, Olu Fashanu, and multiple other linemen should give Rodgers more time to throw to Garrett Wilson and new addition Mike Williams.

Houston Texans

Yes, the Texans won their division and even won a playoff game last year but their improvements in the offseason can result in an even better season than 2023. In the 2023 playoffs, they managed to beat the Browns because they were the superior team, but struggled against the playoff-hardened Ravens.

So, the team's front office smartly decided to go after stars with playoff experience. They went out and got Joe Mixon, Danielle Hunter, and Stefon Diggs among many others. It wouldn't be surprising if the Texans could go from strength to strength and make a shock run to the Super Bowl.
