BALLER MOVE: Start in 10+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR2
ANALYSIS: McLaurin is set to make his 2024 debut with rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels and it happens to be in a pretty good matchup against Tampa Bay in Week 1.
McLaurin is the clear WR1 in Washington and may be playing with the most talented passer of his career if Daniels's preseason success is any indication of his pro potential.
The Commanders overhauled their coaching staff this offseason, bringing in head coach Dan Quinn and new offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury. Look for Kingsbury to feed McLaurin a lot of targets and make him the center of the passing game. He should be scheming up some short and easy throws for his rookie QB and relying on "Scary Terry" to do some work after the catch.

This matchup might look neutral at first glance (Tampa 14th in Pass DVOA last season) but the Bucs ranked 25th in DVOA vs. WR1s in 2023.
McLaurin should be started in all formats as a WR2 with confidence as he should lead the team in targets and receptions.
