Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins has been one of the more underrated players in the NFL over the past few years. The former Clemson star had at least 900 receiving yards and six touchdowns each of his first three seasons in the league despite playing alongside Ja'Marr Chase.
Higgins would be the No. 1 wide receiver for several teams in the NFL. Unfortunately, the veteran struggled last year, setting career lows in receptions (42), targets (76), receiving yards (656), and touchdowns (five).
Despite the disappointing 2023 season, Higgins is in line for a massive pay raise this offseason. The only question is who will be paying the star wide receiver.

Will The Bengals Trade Tee Higgins?
Cincinnati was the first team to use the franchise tag this offseason, placing it on Higgins. However, the former Clemson star isn’t happy with the team. He asked the Bengals for a trade shortly after receiving the franchise tag. Reportedly, Cincinnati hasn’t had extension talks with the veteran wide receiver in a year.

While Higgins has asked for a trade, it’s unlikely he will get dealt. They likely won’t receive enough in return for the star wide receiver to trade him away. Yet, things can quickly change in the NFL.
Which Teams Could Trade For Tee Higgins?
If Cincinnati made Higgins available in trade talks, several teams would be interested in the star wide receiver. However, the three most likely teams to trade for him are the Tennessee Titans, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Carolina Panthers.

The Titans hired former Bengals’ offensive coordinator Brian Callahan as their head coach this offseason. Tennessee needs a go-to No. 1 caliber wide receiver for Will Levis, especially with DeAndre Hopkins heading into the last year of his contract.
While the Jaguars are expected to re-sign Calvin Ridley, Higgins would be an excellent pivot move if the veteran leaves. Trevor Lawrence and Higgins were college teammates at Clemson. Despite signing Gabe Davis on Monday, Jacksonville could still add to their receiving core if Ridley signs elsewhere.
Following their blockbuster trade with the New York Giants involving Brian Burns, the Panthers have two early second-round picks in the 2024 NFL Draft. Bryce Young has a bottom-three receiving core in the league. Carolina could package those two early second-round picks in a deal for Higgins.
