ANALYSIS: Ted Ginn logged only five yards on his one catch in Thursday’s opener (though he did have a 20-yard rush). The thing is, Denver’s defense is still pretty darn good and makes judging Ginn’s performance that much more difficult. Carolina gets a much easier matchup in Week 2 against San Francisco’s secondary, giving the Ginn of 2015 a much better chance at shining forth. Carolina may not need to pass often in that matchup, but they may also just put up 50 and get everyone a touchdown.
