Rookie Taylor Jungmann had a fairly productive rookie season for the Brewers in 2015. As is to be expected, he had some rough starts, but he also flashed above-average potential during the dog days of the summer. The right-hander finished 2015 with a 9-8 record along with a 3.77 ERA, 1.282 WHIP and 107 SO over 21 starts. His rookie side showed up during the final month of the season when he allowed 24 runs over five starts in just 22.2 innings pitched. This came after he went three straight starts without allowing a run, and over the season he had 10 quality starts (including one complete game). He’ll still be a late draft pick in 2016, although he’s an arm to keep an eye on for depth purposes. He should show significant improvement with experience under his belt and a rotation spot locked down.
