ANALYSIS: With Ryan Fitzpatrick now on the injured reserve with a hip injury, Heinicke looks to be Washington’s man going into a Week 2 home date with the Giants. You’ll recall Heinicke nearly played spoiler to Tom Brady’s championship run with a 300-yard game against the Bucs in last year's playoffs. Antonio Gibson and the defense should be enough against “Big” Blue, but Terry McLaurin and Logan Thomas can make magic happen. Do note he’d draw the Bills in Buffalo for Week 3. Heinicke is a fine pickup for leagues where a second QB is needed but won't carry enough value in single-QB leagues.
