BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 45% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Through Memorial Day, Tanner Roark looked to be on his way toward continuing his career trend of excelling in even-numbered years. While he was just 2-4, he had produced tidy ratios (3.17 ERA, 0.99 WHIP), a strikeout rate north of 22%, and had logged a quality start eight of the 10 times he'd taken the hill. The remainder of his first half, however, was an abject disaster. Including a random relief appearance on June 3, Roark went 1-7 with a 7.38 ERA and 1.95 WHIP as his walk and home run rates spiked at the same time his BABIP did.
Fortunately, his first two turns coming out of the All-Star break offer some hope for better days down the stretch. In those games (both victories), Roark allowed just one run across 15 innings, with 18 strikeouts and only one walk. He'll look to keep the good times rolling on Sunday when he faces the Reds at home.
