ANALYSIS: The Houston Texans played the game of the year on Sunday. With the team's kicker sidelined for most of the game due to injury, Houston had to score touchdowns and it had to go for two. Despite the Texans defense letting Tampa score 37 points and Houston going for two on all four second-half touchdowns, the team found a way.
Much of that way was because of rookie wide receiver Tank Dell, who caught a pair of touchdowns in the victory plus came up big on the final drive with a huge first down.
Overall, the rookie caught six passes for 114 yards in the victory. He was one of three Texans players with 100-plus receiving yards on a day where quarterback C.J. Stroud broke the single-game rookie yardage record. Notably, the team's ostensible No. 1 receiver, Nico Collins, finished just fourth on the team in receiving yards.
Dell's an electric player and Houston finally started getting him involved down the field, where he can take advantage of his speed. He has a chance to be the No. 1 wideout in Houston over the second half of the season and should be added in all formats. He's a big-play receiver who should get peppered with targets moving forward after this big game.
