Taj Bradley is a fantasy baseball waiver wire pickup for Week 9 (2024). Target Bradley as a starting pitcher free agent waiver wire add for fantasy baseball.
BALLER MOVE: Add in all formats
ROSTERED IN: 43% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: After suffering an injury during training camp that cost him the first month and a half of the season, Taj Bradley is back in the Tampa Bay rotation and looks great through his first two starts.
Bradley was a popular sleeper pick late in drafts but was likely cut in a lot of leagues when managers found out he wouldn't start the season in the rotation. The time to add Bradley is now if he is still available in your league.
After a very up-and-down rookie campaign in 2023, Bradley looks to take a step forward in his development this year and has the type of stuff that could make him the ace of this staff in time.

He holds a 3.60 ERA and 1.00 WHIP through his first two starts against the Yankees and Red Sox. He struck out seven Yankees in his debut and followed that up with a win over Boston with six more punch-outs.
Bradley has a 29% strikeout rate so far and an improved 6.8% BB%. If the improved control is for real, he's going to have a chance at posting some big strikeout numbers and solid ratios for fantasy teams this season. He will face Boston again in his next start.
