T.Y. Hilton (WR, IND) - Week 14 Waiver Wire Pickups

ANALYSIS: Another week like the last two, and I'll be handling T.Y. Hilton my award for "Most Valuable Troll" of the 2020 fantasy season. After scoring all of 61.7 combined FP through Week 11 and making 99% of his fantasy GMs to drop/trade him away out of pure desperation, Hilton went on to score 43.1 FP in his last two games. He reached 18.1 in W12 and this past Sunday bested that mark for 25 FP against Houston, racking up more fantasy points in those two games than he had in the prior six. LOL.

Hilton has been a wide receiver for a bunch of seasons. He's averaged 11+ PPR points per season in all of his pro years in the NFL, but he's at just 9.5 in 2020. To say this has been a disappointing year for Hilton is falling short of the reality. But finally, and miraculously when it all felt lost, Hilton is back to his best ways.

Hilton has scored one touchdown in each of his last two games after not doing so in any earlier match this season. He's also finished those two games with 81 (4 of 5 receptions) and 110 yards (8 of 11) respectively. QB Philip Rivers has targeted Hilton an average of six times per game this year, and he's logged 5+ targets in all of the last four games topping at 11 this past Sunday. Here's to hope that usage stays that high or at least above the six-target average ROS.

If that's the case, Hilton might turn into a true league-winning player to roster ASAP. Still available in more than half of Yahoo leagues, Hilton and the Colts face the 20th and 21st-worst defenses against fantasy WRs in the next two weeks (including Houston in W15, which Hilton just cooked). The matchup of W16 (most leagues' championship week) is also relatively good against the 14th-ranked defense. If you can still find Hilton for free in your WW you should give it not a single second of thought and do whatever it takes to get Hilton on board. Must-add in every fantasy league.
