We know many of our readers compete in two-quarterback formats, and here at RotoBaller, we have been pumping out superflex rankings articles weekly. For those unfamiliar with superflex leagues, it's a format that allows you to start two quarterbacks but does not require you. Today, we will review our NFL team's Week 12 fantasy football superflex rankings (2QB) for fantasy football.
Between injuries and inconsistencies, finding a second quarterback to start can be challenging in these types of formats. As always, we have got you covered. Here's where key fantasy options such as Baker Mayfield, Gardner Minshew, Tommy Devito, Josh Jacobs, D'Andre Swift, Chris Olave, Kareem Hunt, Khalil Herbert, Josh Downs, and Mike Evans rank in Week 12.

Week 12 Superflex Rankings Analysis
A new feature has been added to our weekly fantasy football rankings article. Below, you will find our fantasy football outlooks for key options in Week 12, which gives readers a matchup preview of that player and advice on whether you should start or avoid for the upcoming week. We provide outlooks for all 32 NFL teams, which can be found on our player profile pages and our fantasy football news desk.
Tommy Devito, QB, New York Giants
Week 12 Superflex Rankings: 80
New York Giants quarterback Tommy Devito took advantage of a soft Washington secondary en route to career-high numbers in completions, yards, and touchdowns. That will be much harder to replicate in Week 12 against a New England defense that ranks in the top half for fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks.
The undrafted rookie will be without tight end Darren Waller (hamstring) once again and will also likely be without leading wide receiver Darius Slayton (neck). DeVito's victory over the Commanders is a fun story, but fantasy managers don't need to chase those points. That stat line has been the anomaly thus far in his three starts. DeVito can remain on waiver wires in regular redraft formats.
Gardner Minshew, QB, Indianapolis Colts
Week 12 Superflex Rankings: 30
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Gardner Minshew has had a streak of underwhelming fantasy performances. Most recently was in Week 10 when Minshew threw 18 completions on 24 attempts for 194 yards, no touchdowns, and one interception in the team's 10-6 win against the New England Patriots. While Minshew has been a solid game manager for the Colts, he hasn't had a ton of fantasy upside to go along with it.
That could change in Week 12 when the Colts square off against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This season, the Bucs' defense has allowed the fourth-most points to opposing fantasy QBs, as well as allowing the second-most passing yards. In a game that has shootout potential, Minshew may be the beneficiary. Minshew should be started in all 2QB/Superflex formats but does carry some potential as a spot starter in 1QB leagues as well.
Baker Mayfield, QB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Week 12 Superflex Rankings: 43
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield has thrown multiple touchdowns in three of the last four games. The former first-round pick has looked good this season with his new team. The hope is that he'll continue to succeed against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 12. A defense that has allowed 10 passing touchdowns this season.
Mayfield has been a viable QB2 option throughout most of the season. That should remain the case against the below-average Colts defense this week. Fantasy managers should be able to get QB2 value from Mayfield, but don't expect much more than that.
D'Andre Swift, RB, Philadelphia Eagles
Week 12 Superflex Rankings: 28
Philadelphia Eagles running back D'Andre Swift will take on the Buffalo Bills in Week 12. The 24-year-old got back on track for fantasy purposes last week after tallying 107 yards and a score against a stiff Kansas City run defense. Kenneth Gainwell and Boston Scott accounted for just a few carries, cementing the fact that this is Swift's backfield. Buffalo is ranked middle of the pack in fantasy points per game allowed to the running back position this season but has struggled to stop receiving backs in particular.
The Bills have given up the second-most receiving yards to the position, and Swift has tallied over 60 passing yards in the past two weeks. With tight end Dallas Goedert (forearm) out indefinitely, the former Detroit Lion should see a solid target share and could capitalize this week against the Bills defense. Consider Swift a fringe RB1 in Week 12.
Chris Olave, WR, New Orleans Saints
Week 12 Superflex Rankings: 39
New Orleans Saints wide receiver Chris Olave has scored a touchdown in two straight games after having just one through the first eight weeks of the season. Olave will look to extend that streak against the divisional rival Atlanta Falcons in Week 12. Atlanta is allowing the 22nd most fantasy points per game to opposing receivers but is by no means a secondary worth fading for fantasy purposes.
With Michael Thomas (knee) on injured reserve, Olave should be a safe bet to continue to lead the team in targets. Do not hesitate to start the second-year receiver in any lineup.
