ANALYSIS: Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Sterling Shepard (hamstring) missed the team's Friday practice with a hamstring injury, and it's questionable whether he'll play at all in Week 9 against the Kansas City Chiefs. Even if he does, it's a brutal matchup for him, he could be limited, and he hasn't done much this season anyway.

He doesn't have much going for him other than quarterback Baker Mayfield, who looks to be playing the best football of his life, and the slot role vacated by Chris Godwin (ankle), who's out for the season. Shepard is 31 years old and has never finished in the top-25 receivers in fantasy football PPR scoring.
In fact, he's finished inside the top-35 just one time. In an easier matchup, a fully-healthy Shep would be a much more interesting starting option, but he has too much working against him to earn a spot in your fantasy lineups. He's fine to be left on the bench or in free agency.
