Should I Start Jared Goff for Fantasy Football?
Jared Goff has been a reliable performer for the Detroit Lions, recording two games with over 300 passing yards and two games with multiple touchdown passes. He's also added two touchdowns on the ground. However, the upcoming matchup against the Buccaneers may not provide a great opportunity for an explosive performance. The Buccaneers have allowed the fourth-fewest points to quarterbacks this season, even when facing talented quarterbacks like Jalen Hurts, Kirk Cousins, and Justin Fields.
While the Lions have showcased one of the league's top offenses this year, they've primarily leaned towards a run-heavy approach. This shift in focus toward the running game can limit Goff's opportunities when they're leading and trying to control the game. Consequently, Goff stands as a borderline QB1 this week and is a suitable option for streaming or as a fill-in.
He is the QB15 in our PPR consensus staff rankings.
Should I Start Jakobi Meyers for Fantasy Football?
Jakobi Meyers has had an impressive start to this season, and he finds himself in an intriguing 'revenge game' scenario against his former team, the New England Patriots. The Raiders wide receiver has seen 10 or more targets in three of the four games he's played, racking up at least 75 yards in each of those contests. He's also found the end zone three times, demonstrating excellent chemistry with Jimmy Garoppolo.
In games where both Meyers and Davante Adams are on the field, Meyers has only received seven fewer targets despite running 12 fewer routes. The Patriots currently rank 19th in points allowed to wide receivers, but the Raiders boast the 10th-highest pass rate in the league, providing ample opportunities for Meyers to produce. As a result, he should be considered a low-end WR2/flex option for Week 6.
He is the WR25 in our PPR consensus staff rankings.
Should I Start Kyren Williams for Fantasy Football?
Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams has been heavily involved to start the season, consistently logging snap percentages of 80% or more, with his lowest being 65% in Week 1. He's also accounted for nearly all of the Rams' rush attempts, with just 10 exceptions. Furthermore, Williams ranks fourth in both routes run (168) and targets (23) on the Rams.
The Rams enter Sunday's game as seven-point favorites against the Cardinals, which suggests a potentially favorable game script for Williams. The Cardinals have allowed the fourth-most points to running backs this season, making this a fantastic opportunity for Williams. He should be confidently started as a low-end RB1 or high-end RB2 this week.
He is the RB11 in our PPR consensus staff rankings.
