Week 5 is almost upon us, and now that the dust has settled from the first four weeks, start/sit decisions from here on out can make or break your chances of winning your fantasy league.
In this article, we will be looking at three young players. Jordan Love is ready to lead the Packers to a bounce-back win against the Raiders, Zack Moss will be looking to make the most out of possibly his last starting opportunity this season against the Titans, and Sam LaPorta wants to continue his great rookie season with a big game against the Panthers.
Should you start Love, Moss, or LaPorta in Week 5? Let's dive in.

Should I Start Jordan Love for Fantasy Football?
Jordan Love has hit a bit of a snag as a passer over the past two weeks, but his two rushing touchdowns have ensured that his fantasy value hasn't taken a hit. Love has been the overall QB3 so far this season, but his numbers could go up even higher next week.

He will be facing the Raiders, who have given up the eighth-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks this season. Josh Allen finished as the QB7 against them, while Justin Herbert finished as the QB5 when playing the Raiders last week. Love could be used as a QB1, especially if you don't have any better options with a favorable matchup.
He is the QB12 in our half-PPR consensus staff rankings.
Should I Start Zack Moss for Fantasy Football?
Now that Jonathan Taylor announced his return and commitment to the Colts, Zack Moss' starting days could be coming to an end. But he could get the starting job against Tennessee in Week 5 as Indy will likely ease Taylor into action.
Let's not forget how good Moss was as a starter though. On the ground, Moss racked up 280 yards on 66 attempts (4.24 yards per attempt) and a touchdown. He was even solid as a receiver, as he has 42 yards receiving and a receiving touchdown. He finished as the RB7 (half-PPR) from Week 2 to Week 4 (as the starter).
But even if he gets the nod over Taylor, the Titans will be a very hard matchup. Since September 11, 2022, no running back has rushed for more than 67 yards in a game against the Titans. They gave up the second-fewest fantasy points to RBs in 2022, a ranking that they have retained so far this season. By all accounts, you shouldn't start Moss.
He is the RB36 in our half-PPR consensus staff rankings.
Should I Start Sam LaPorta for Fantasy Football?
The 2023 NFL draft has given us many great rookies from multiple positions, and despite him being overshadowed by other players in flashier positions, Sam LaPorta has easily been the best rookie TE in the league so far.
But LaPorta hasn't just been a good rookie, he has been one of the best TEs in the entire league. He has been the overall TE2 behind his predecessor T.J. Hockenson in PPR and half-PPR formats, and while he might drop down a few spots due to Travis Kelce and Mark Andrews missing Week 1, LaPorta's season has been nothing short of spectacular.

As for his next opponent, Carolina is pretty good at limiting TE targets, as they have surrendered the eighth-fewest fantasy points to tight ends so far this season, but are allowing the 11th-most yards per catch to tight ends. There might not be a lot of volume, but he will be very efficient and effective. Starting him is a very wise move.
He is the TE4 in our half-PPR consensus staff rankings.
