BALLER MOVE: Sit
POSITIONAL VALUE: QB3
ANALYSIS: New Orleans Saints quarterback Spencer Rattler is entering one of the ugliest situations of any QB in the NFL this season. After suffering a blowout loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 6, he has just a short week to work with before facing the Denver Broncos in Week 7. Denver has fielded an impressive defense this year.
The #Broncos defense ranks 4th in EPA/play, and the tape is very enjoyable to watch
Denver doesn't necessarily have many household names, but it's an extremely well-coached unit by Vance Joseph

The rookie's inexperience and turnover-prone nature will likely be no match for the Broncos' disciplined and suffocating unit. Despite their loss of cornerback Patrick Surtain II (concussion) to injury, New Orleans' offense has been decimated by injury, and it's unlikely they'll be able to get much going.

The Saints are virtually fielding a practice squad group for this game. They'll be without their top-2 wide receivers, starting center, and possibly a starting offensive guard. Rattler scored just 9.4 fantasy points in Week 6 against a much softer defense and with a much healthier roster.
He shouldn't be started, even in 2QB leagues, unless you have no other options. And even in those leagues, he's a risky start and could end up outscored by waiver options at other positions. Don't start him.

The wide receiver position has an advantage over the running back position in PPR scoring formats, typically. Receivers' main job of catching the football leads to them scoring more points per touch, and those WRs that consistently get high volume can produce great results with a strong floor. Not every WR is like this, though, […]
