NFL DFS Props - Over/Under Picks for Week 9 Sunday Night Football
Stefon Diggs OVER 6.5 Receptions
Diggs has been a superstar for the Bills so far this season. He leads the league in both targets and receptions through eight weeks and shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon.
The 29-year-old has reached seven or more catches in all but two of his games this year and has commanded a whopping 31.2% target share on the season. In what is expected to be a shootout against the Bengals, his receptions prop is a great bet to consider.
James Cook UNDER 2.5 Receptions
Cook has been largely underwhelming this season for the Bills, particularly in the passing game. The Bills have cut back his pass game usage significantly in recent weeks, catching two passes or less four times in his last six games. His 54.5% passing success rate ranks as the lowest mark on the team among pass-catchers with 10 or more targets this year.
With Leonard Fournette being added to a backfield that has also seen more of Latavius Murray recently (33% of snaps or more in four of his last five), Cook is unlikely to garner enough targets to reach his receptions over on Sunday.
Evan McPherson OVER 6.5 Kicking Points
The Bengals are hitting their stride after three straight wins to finish October, including a convincing 31-17 win over the 49ers last week. McPherson has been on point in recent weeks, hitting nine of 11 field goals and all 11 of his extra point attempts over his last five games and averaging 7.6 kicking points over that span.
The Bills face off against the Bengals on Sunday night in a matchup with a 50.5 over/under and a 26 implied point total, both tied for the highest marks of any game in Week 9.
Buffalo ranks middle of the pack in defensive DVOA (14th) but is the sixth-best defense at preventing red zone touchdowns (allowing a red zone touchdown only 42% of the time). Buffalo’s defense has also been decimated by injuries in recent weeks, which should open the door for more scoring opportunities against them this week.
