We are back with prop picks from Sleeper. Last week I did three prop articles, the Thursday night, Sunday early slate, and Sunday afternoon games. All in all, we went 6-6 across those games with both C.J. Stroud and Zach Wilson missing their respective Over/Unders by three yards a piece. Although that hurt, we’ve gone 2-2 in every article so far making our total 10-10.
In light of the MLB playoffs, if we can manage to start hitting above 500 I’d be very happy. I’m hoping we can find some gems in this early slate of games. This week it appears that there are a surprising amount of hard-nosed matchups with good defenses.
My name is Ellis Johnson and I have been writing for RotoBaller for four years. You can catch my weekly Fantasy Pie Shop articles on RotoBaller (trust me, it’s as fun as it sounds). RotoBaller is coming out with weekly DFS plays and lots of great analysis with their DFS pass. Be sure to check it out as the team has been crushing it so far this year!

Ja’Marr Chase (WR, CIN)
Over 72.5 Receiving Yards
This is a Sleeper special, where they have given 15% off his receiving line for the same price. Instead of his expected line of 84.5 yards, we now get it at a discount, making this a “must pick” for this week.
If this line was not discounted, I’d still be all over it. With Jefferson now sidelined (wishing him a speedy and full recovery) Chase enters the discussion as the league’s best WR this week. In Week Five we finally saw Joe Burrow look more like his shiesty self, of which, Chase took advantage for 15 catches, 192 yards, and three scores.
He now faces the Seahawks who are allowing the most yards and touchdowns per game to the WR position. This game has sneaky shoot-out potential and if Tee Higgins misses, Chase could see another near-20 target week. Even if Higgins plays, Chase is in line for a monster week regardless.
Drake London (WR, ATL)
Over 44.5 Receiving Yards
I’ll be honest, this is a gross one. I know Desmond Ridder is coming off a monster performance of over 300 passing yards, a passing touchdown, and a rushing touchdown, but it’s still a tough passing offense to bank on.
Thankfully, this Commander's team is getting torched week in and out by talented receivers. Two weeks ago A.J. Brown had 175 yards and two touchdowns, and last week D.J. Moore went for 230 yards and three scores. Although Ridder is not Jalen Hurts, I don’t know if he is a worse passer than Feilds.
I’m banking on London’s talent making Kendall Fuller look lost for the third consecutive week. Plus, 44.5 yards is not a high bar, especially when he's getting six or more targets most weeks.

Nick Folk (K, TEN)
Over 1.5 made Field Goals
I can’t imagine kicker props are the most popular props to pick, but so far we are 2-0 when selecting them. As a result, I’m going to try and keep the ball rolling with one of the most consistent kickers in the league.
Nick Folk has attempted and made two or more field goals in every game but one so far. In fact, he has yet to miss a kick this year and the Ravens are allowing three field goal attempts per game. This game is between two teams that love to run the ball and historically rely on their defense. In the end, that’s a perfect recipe for field goals.
T.J. Hockenson (TE, MIN)
Over 51.5 Receiving Yards
After this team got off to one of the worst starts in the league, they lost superstar receiver Justin Jefferson for a minimum of four weeks. We have yet to see this team play without Jefferson in a while, making this offense relatively unpredictable.
Many fans will likely crown Jordan Addison as the biggest beneficiary of Jefferson's absence, however, he has yet to see consistent usage this season. As a result, I believe Hockenson and K.J. Osborn will end up being the primary recipients of Jefferson’s vacated targets.
More specifically, I think Hockenson is in line to get fed for the next few weeks. Even with Jefferson, Hockenson had only one game with fewer than eight targets. In fact, he is leading the league in targets and third in yards. I expect Kirk Cousins to look for him early and often over the next few weeks.
