NFL DFS Props - Over/Under Picks for Week 5 Sunday Night Football
Brock Purdy UNDER 247.5 Passing Yards
Purdy has had an excellent start to the season but faces his toughest test this week on SNF against the Cowboys. Dallas is the second-toughest matchup for QBs according to PFF’s Strength of Schedule metric, giving up an average of 153 passing yards to opposing QBs so far this season.
Rotoballer's Proptimizer tool gives Purdy’s passing yardage prop a 34.1% edge, the most lucrative prop in this matchup. The Sharp App projected line sits at 213.1 passing yards, giving over 34 yards of cushion for this prop to hit.
Tony Pollard OVER 56.5 Rushing Yards
Pollard is the RB8 in PPR so far this season and will look to continue his hot start this week against the 49ers. The 26-year-old has surpassed 56 rushing yards in three of four games and is averaging 78 rushing yards per game so far in 2023.
Despite the tough matchup, the RotoBaller Proptimizer tool outlines a 12% edge on Pollard’s rushing yardage over this week based on a Sharp App projected line of 70.4 rushing yards.
Brandin Cooks UNDER 3.5 Receptions
Cooks has been underwhelming so far in his first season with Dallas, collecting eight catches for 66 yards in four games. His task won’t get any easier in Week 5 - his matchup with the 49ers is the fifth-toughest for receivers according to PFF.
San Francisco deploys zone coverage 75% of the time. Cooks ranks 93rd among receivers in fantasy points per route run (0.19) against zone and is fourth on the team in receiving grade (60.5) against zone. PFF projects a 64% likelihood of Cooks’ reception prop hitting the under this week, the fourth-highest edge of any SNF prop based on their projections.
