NFL DFS Props - Over/Under Picks for Week 5 Monday Night Football
Aaron Jones UNDER 11.5 Attempts
Jones has been hampered by a hamstring injury so far in 2023, and he enters Monday night’s matchup with the Raiders with a questionable designation. Jones returned in Week 4 after missing the previous two games but was held to five rushing attempts for 18 yards on 35% of snaps. While one can expect those numbers to rise this week, the Packers will likely still be cautious with their lead running back as he works his way back to 100% health.
Rotoballer's Proptimizer tool gives this prop a 29% edge, the most lucrative prop in this matchup according to the tool. The Sharp App projected line sits at 8.8 rushing attempts, giving over two attempts of cushion for this under to hit.
Jordan Love OVER 13.5 Rushing Yards
Love has overperformed so far in his first season as the Packers' starting quarterback, entering Week 5 as the QB4. Love has surpassed 13.5 rushing yards in two of four games this season, averaging 18 rushing yards per game and already tallying two rushing touchdowns.
His opponent this week, the Las Vegas Raiders, ranks as the third-best matchup for QBs overall and just allowed 27 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns to Justin Herbert last week. With a banged-up offensive line and Aaron Jones still on the injury report, Love will likely be leaned upon once more to carry the offense.
Luke Musgrave UNDER 3.5 Receptions
Rookie Luke Musgrave has had an adequate start to his career for the Packers, catching 12 of 16 passes for 125 yards in four games. In a middle-of-the-road matchup with the Raiders, however, Musgrave is unlikely to hit his receptions prop. The Raiders have only allowed four or more catches to one tight end this season (Adam Trautman in Week 1).
PFF projects a 67% likelihood of this prop going under. With many mouths to feed in a crowded Packers offense, Musgrave will have a hard time garnering enough targets to reach his receptions over this week.
