NFL DFS Props - Over/Under Picks for Week 4 Sunday Night Football
Breece Hall OVER 8.5 Receiving Yards
The Jets have been cautious with RB Breece Hall so far in 2023 as he continues to regain his form after a season-ending knee injury last year. Hall’s snap share has continued to climb week-over-week, from 31% in Week 1, up to 49% in Week 3.
This week Hall and the Jets match up with the Kansas City Chiefs, in a game with value on Hall’s receiving yardage over. As New York enters panic mode offensively, look for Hall’s usage to get closer to the 69% snap share he enjoyed last year prior to injury - particularly in obvious passing situations, which the Jets will likely find themselves in often against the Chiefs on Sunday night.
Rotoballer's Proptimizer tool gives this prop a 28.9% edge as the Sharp App projected line sits at 16.5 receiving yards.
Dalvin Cook UNDER 1.5 Receptions
With Breece Hall ramping up his usage in the Jets backfield, opportunities for Dalvin Cook are starting to diminish. While Hall’s snap share has steadily increased since Week 1, Cook’s has been on a steady decline. After opening the season with 50% of the Jets offensive snaps in Week 1, his usage dropped to 36% of snaps in Week 2 and 25% in Week 3.
PFF estimates a 68% likelihood of this prop going under. Look for Hall to command more of the third-down passing work against the Chiefs on Sunday night as the Jets look for ways to turn around their offensive freefall.
Zach Wilson UNDER 14.5 Rushing Yards
Jets QB Zach Wilson’s rushing prop is too high this week. The 24-year-old has only exceeded 6 rushing yards once in three games this season, and he is unlikely to find many scrambling lanes this week against Kansas City. With injuries on New York’s offensive line and a ferocious Chiefs front seven that is hitting its stride with DE Chris Jones back, Wilson will be looking to get rid of the ball quickly on Sunday night.
Wilson is showing some value on his passing yardage over with the Jets likely to be mostly playing from behind, however, we like his rushing under as a pivot. Home games at MetLife Stadium haven’t been any less hostile than road games for the Jets QB to this point. Wilson is a threat to be benched if the Jets underwhelm again at home, providing another route to this prop hitting.
