Welcome to our Sleeper NBA DFS prop picks for Wednesday, January 31. This section of the season is treacherous. Teams are not fully focused. Players are getting shopped and the only thing that matters is winning conference games. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holmgren were victims one and two Sunday when they were rested at the end of their ‘very winnable’ game versus the Pistons.
The only problem is that resting proved pointless when the Thunder lost to the Timberwolves the following night. To make those losses worse, Jalen Williams went down with an injury and Oklahoma City hosts Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets Wednesday night. If the end of January is any indication, it’s going to be a long February for the Thunder.

NBA DFS Props - Over/Under Picks for Wednesday, January 31
Jusuf Nurkic OVER 11.5 Points
RotoBaller’s Prop-timizer loves Jusuf Nurkic’ unders, but they don’t make a ton of sense. Yes, he’s trending down as of late, but that ignores Devin Booker’s total decimation of the offensive flow. Booker has earned every bit of usage he gets, but the Suns are still 2-2 despite his outrageous contributions this these past couple games. If the Suns want to win, it’ll take more than 40 points coming from one player, as crazy as that sounds.
The physical differences between Brooklyn and Phoenix’s frontcourt favors the big-bodied Nurkic and matchup history proves this. Nicolas Claxton has improved drastically, but there’s not much he can do about Nurkic' size advantage. Those quick-turnarounds and jump-hooks in the lane are going to be there for both players and Nurkic won't be the only Suns player hitting overs tonight.
Cade Cunningham OVER 3.5 Turnovers
It’s not entirely Cade Cunningham’s fault, but his turnover props have been a golden egg this season. The Pistons struggles don’t help, but failing to convert his pass attempts and not creating offense only forces Cunningham to try and do more. Whether it’s for himself or for teammates doesn’t really matter since as long he’s out there conducting offense, he’s going to turn the ball over.
Out of the 37 games he’s played this season, Cunningham has recorded at least one turnover in all but two. In eleven of those games, he’s posted six or more turnovers. Good defenses. Bad defenses. It doesn’t matter. When he’s out there and the Pistons are firing, Cunningham is sure to demonstrate his playmaking by any means necessary and that means turnovers.
Anthony Edwards UNDER 5.5 Rebounds
Taking the under doesn’t mean Anthony Edwards is projected for a bad game and truthfully, the rebound prop is the only bet worth considering the under on. Edwards facing the Mavericks defense is a match made in heaven. His offensive stats have uncapped potential and facing Luka Doncic has the chance to turn tonight’s game into a historically memorable outing. With or without the hype, Edwards focus on rebounding is sure to take a backseat to his offense.
Everyone knows Dallas is a terrible rebounding team, only that doesn’t just give Edwards a boost. It gives a major spike to both, multi-DPOY winner Rudy Gobert and fellow seven-footer Karl-Anthony Towns. One being the league’s top rebounder and the other thinking he one of the league’s better rebounder isn’t going to leave many opportunities for everyone else. The shortened rotation could work against us, but six rebounds is well above his 4.7 RPG over the last two months.
