Welcome to our Sleeper NBA DFS prop picks for Wednesday, January 10. Raptors versus Lakers managed to salvage a fairly dull night of 20-point blowouts and Wednesday is a 10-game response. Right off the bat, RotoBaller’s Prop-timizer favors Kevin Huerter’s under bets and for good reason. As long as you can avoid the sporadic ‘good’ night from Huerter that u10.5 Point bet is extremely viable. The Hornets might seem like as easy target, but an easy target opens the door for more than just Huerter.
Sleeper offers some of the best and easiest-to-win NBA DFS games in the industry. Sleeper DFS works just like regular player prop betting -- there are no large-field tournaments to get lost in. NBA DFS Props - Over/Under Picks for Wednesday, January 10
Herbert Jones OVER 17.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
Herbert Jones isn’t known for his scoring and the Pelicans aren’t concerned with making sure he gets touches. As the defensive specialist, Jones impacts games in alternative ways that don’t require him being a focal point of New Orleans gameplan, although being on the court means he’ll get shots regardless. The Warriors are struggling this year, but they have a certain dynamic that is going to keep an engaged defender like Jones busy for the entirety of his minutes.
Going with an all-around under bet should offer a decent-sized buffer in case he does hit a few three-pointers, but the offense in this game isn’t going to come from the role-playing Pelicans. Even though Larry Nance, Jordan Hawkins, Dyson Daniels, and Naji Marshall might not be starting, they are all more deserving of offensive opportunities and there’s a good chance Jones himself wouldn’t argue that.
Clint Capela OVER 10.5 Rebounds
Not only does Clint Capela have an impressive track record against Joel Embiid, but when these two teams last played in early December, Capela pulled down 16 rebounds. The Hawks are still splitting Capela and Onyeka Okongwu’s minutes depending on the matchup, but it hasn’t stopped Capela from grabbing double-digit rebounds in seven of his last 10 games.
The upside here is tremendous despite playing a better opponent and it’s hard not to get repetitive when talking about someone who is an established center with a reachable over. Since 11 rebounds is the mark tonight, just know that he’s hit 11 or more in 20 out of a total 34 games this season.
Paul George OVER 2.5 Assists
With the Clippers offense safely in James Harden’s hands, Paul George’s assists props have dropped to criminally low levels. George is a highly-effective, all-around player that rarely sticks to one category when it comes to production, but his scoring has been his most consistent trait this season by far. His overall offense is always going to be a quality bet since he naturally generates points and creating extra chances with his defense adds even more potential.
Despite a 26% usage rate over the last four games, George is barely averaging more than two assists per game and last game he failed to register any, but still led the team in scoring. This isn’t the best lead up for why you should take the over here, but it does explain why his assist props have dropped so low. Regardless, as long as he is the main contributor, it’s hard to be sold on any under bet.
