Welcome to our Sleeper NBA DFS prop picks for Wednesday, February 14. Brace yourselves. All-Star weekend is here. The games leading up to this weekend are going to continue to be interesting and by that, I mean no one is playing defense. Expect more high-scoring performances and Tuesday marked the second night this month where at least three players scored 40+ points.
To recap the last week leading up to tonight, Victor Wembanyama is officially a quadruple-double threat. Terry Rozier is OUT with an ankle injury. Onyeka Okongwu’s trial in the starting lineup was short-lived, and Franz Wagner is playing as well as anyone in the league right now. Tuesday exceeded expectations with just six games and Wednesday we can play the numbers game and assume the same on a massive 13-game slate. My assumption is Knicks-Magic is game of the night.

NBA DFS Props - Over/Under Picks for Wednesday, February 14
Bruno Fernando OVER 8.5 Rebounds
While the Hawks adjust to their new frontcourt rotation, we can absolutely capitalize on Bruno Fernando’s new role as the starting center. He’s not the strongest scorer, so betting on points or any combination stats might have some recoil if it doesn’t go well, especially since playing the Hornets increases variance drastically. Either Charlotte’s defense gives Fernando ample opportunities and he clears or he assumes a passive role playing among more experienced players and simply won’t be needed to contribute outside of a reserve center’s role.
Regardless of what the offense asks of him, Fernando’s rebounding ability should be the one aspect where he can uncontestably thrive. In limited minutes this season, Fernando hasn’t always scored when he’s stepped on the court, but he's always found a way to grab at least one board. Now that the minutes shouldn’t be in question, it will be interesting to see what his final stat line will be, although we should assume that his double-double chasing habits translate with starter’s minutes.
Scottie Barnes OVER 15.5 Rebounds + Assists
All season, Scottie Barnes' rebounds + assists prop has been cashing. The last three games specifically, he’s smashed this line with stats to spare. The Raptors are struggling, but that hasn’t seemed to matter when looking at Barnes' game log. He has bad games, but those bad games are still anchored by a full stat sheet and this has been the case nearly all season. Barnes has assumed the superstar role within the offense and that’s not going to change for some time.
Barnes might not be actively chasing triple-doubles, but a triple-double is an easy win for us and that has been his game trajectory nearly every time he goes out there. It might not always be the final result, but Barnes' importance to this offense means the assists will happen and his energy level makes rebounding essential to his production. The Proptimizer prefers the under, but there’s not enough defense throughout this game for it to make sense.
Tyrese Haliburton OVER 32.5 Points + Assists
When Tyrese Haliburton is healthy, we take the over. He is going to have minimal resistance against this defense and in no way, shape, or form is the under a viable option here. Assuming a blowout in either direction is beyond bold and the Pacers aren’t good enough to blow anyone out of the water without the direct assistance of their best player. As long as he is getting the minutes, he annihilates teams like these and he’s already dismantled a much better equipped Raptors defense once this season.
The lines speak for themselves and although both overs should hit, there’s no saying just how that will be accomplished. All we know is that Haliburton is about to be the best player in the game and on the court once again, and Toronto’s defense will need a miracle if they can keep Haliburton under 20 points or 12 or 13 assists.
