Welcome to our Sleeper NBA DFS prop picks for Friday, November 24. While Thanksgiving left us without any NBA basketball, the 24 games between Wednesday and today make it worth the wait since Friday drops us right back into the action with 10 In-Season Tournament games. Already, we can see Rotoballer’s coveted Prop-timizer’s loving Klay Thompson for under 17 points, but we saw how that turned out Wednesday. Thompson put up 14 in his first shift and finished with 20 for the second game in a row, once again crushing his props. You can bet against the second greatest shooter in history, but you are literally betting against history no matter how poorly Thompson plays this season.
Sleeper offers some of the best and easiest-to-win NBA DFS games in the industry. Sleeper DFS works just like regular player prop betting -- there are no large-field tournaments to get lost in. You're not playing against other people; you're just playing against the projections. Here are some of our favorite NBA prop picks for Friday’s 10-game slate.
Announcement: We have two awesome new Props Optimizers for the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, and NCAA! The PrizePicks Optimizer and Prop Bets Optimizer are both available in our new Props Premium Package, which includes exclusive access to RotoBaller's VIP Discord chat rooms for props and betting.
NBA DFS Props - Over/Under Picks for Friday, November 24
Sam Hauser UNDER 1.5 Assists
The Celtics offense is a high-functioning machine and everyone fills a role perfectly. Sam Hauser finishes possessions and rarely will pass out of a shot that he has even the slightest potential of getting off. This scorer’s role works for him and the Celtics so let’s make it work for us as well.
Hauser is taking most of the shots and his height makes finishing at the rim arguably more efficient than trying to dump it off, there’s a reason why his assists numbers are so low. He’s not focused on passing the ball since he’s usually the one-more pass to be made, whether it’s on the wing or in the corner. Until the Celtics ask more of him, you should expect this type of point-heavy production.
Daniel Gafford OVER 8.5 Rebounds+Assists
Playing the Bucks here is my only concern. Lining up against Brook Lopez and Giannis Antetokounmpo can limit your rebound production, but any active rebounder will beat weak box-outs. Lopez will put a body on someone, but lacks the mobility to efficiently limit a strong paint presence and Antetokounmpo doesn’t put a ton of focus in that aspect of his game.
Gafford puts up stats as the lone Wizards center so the minutes and usage will be there, the game just has to remain relatively close. There isn’t a good track history between Gafford and this Bucks team, but if you can find positivity within any part of this Wizards roster versus good teams you’re probably lying. It does help Gafford’s case that Poole and Kuzma will shoot the leather off the ball and Gafford is by-far their best rebounder.
Michael Porter Jr. OVER 6.5 Rebounds
Until Jamal Murray returns, which could be very, very soon, Michael Porter Jr. has an interesting role. He’s the next best option outside of Jokic for scoring and he’s proven he has the ability. Sadly, his rebounding consistency has fallen off a cliff and there’s no method to when and where he will chase rebounds. The last couple weeks have followed an on-and-off again pattern for covering this over, and his high-rebound games seem to happen more frequently against bad teams.
The Magic limiting him to two rebounds last game is a testament to their defense and the Pistons letting up 11 rebounds is a testament to theirs. The Rockets might not be bad, but a young core that hasn’t figured out how to close out games will not beat the defending champions without a proper fight. Porter Jr. has already dominated this team once this month and should have the confidence to do it again.
