Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill (wrist) has easily been one of the worst fantasy football draft picks of 2024. For a variety of reasons, he's just the WR30 in full-PPR scoring so far in 2024, which seems insane, considering that he's finished as the WR2, WR6, WR2, and WR2 over his last four seasons.
He doesn't look like himself, the Dolphins offense is a shell of what it was in 2023, and he's dealt with plenty of injuries. To fantasy managers, it may seem like running back De'Von Achane is getting the ball thrown to him more than Hill, and that's not too far from reality.
So should you trade Reek, as crazy as it sounds?
Should You Trade Tyreek Hill?
Of course, it depends on what you can get for him, but his name still carries plenty of value. If you can get a decent haul, you shouldn't be too afraid of trading him away. For starters, the offense isn't what it once was. Tagovailoa simply hasn't thrown it deep as much as he has in previous seasons.
QBs by deep throw attempt rate:
1. Anthony Richardson (21.1%)
2. Jordan Love (16.7%)
3. Derek Carr (15.8%)
.....
36. Tua Tagovailoa (7.7%)
37. Baker Mayfield (7.6%)
last. Patrick Mahomes (5.8%)Tua was at 10.9% in 2023. Not ideal for Tyreek Hill's spike week potential.

At least from the sample of games so far, it seems that opposing defenses are content to sit back and sell out to stop the big play. They've given the Dolphins plenty of two-high safety looks, making it more difficult to complete deep passes.
Hill has also been battling through injuries and doesn't seem to be nearly as fast as he's been in previous seasons. He hasn't logged a top-20 ball-carrier speed this season after being a mainstay of the list for years.
Who Should I Try To Get For Hill?
The best possible deal you could reasonably get for him would be to package Reek and someone else for Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins, though it would have been better to try to get that deal before the superstar was cleared from his hamstring injury. Collins has a great shot to be a league-winner.

He's been hyper-productive in his starts so far, and he won't have to contend with WR Stefon Diggs (knee) for targets any longer. He and Cincinnati Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase have the clearest paths to being league winners this season.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans (hamstring) is another player to target, though he'll need to return and be fully healthy to be worth it. The Buc's offense has been fantastic, and slot WR Chris Godwin (ankle) won't be there to siphon targets away anymore. Evans will be the uncontested WR1 for his team when he returns.
