Seattle Seahawks running back Zach Charbonnet is slated to get the starting nod on Thursday evening against the Chicago Bears with Kenneth Walker III (ankle) ruled out.
Charbonnet has flashed RB1 upside when deployed as the starting running back before but has struggled to maintain consistency when in the No.2 role.
So, what is Charbonnet's fantasy football outlook moving forward? Should you start him in Week 17?

Zach Charbonnet Fantasy Football Outlook
Even though Charbonnet entered the season as the clear No.2 option behind Walker in the Seattle backfield, he has done a very impressive job filling in for often injured top back. During Weeks 2 and 3, when Charbonnet was given 14 carries each game, he averaged a strong 21.8 PPR points per game. During this span, he averaged over 85.0 total yards per game.

However during Weeks 4 through 13, with Walker active, Charbonnet logged just 3.9 rushing attempts per game and posted a mere 6.3 PPR points per game.
During Weeks 14 and 15 when Walker was out, Charbonnet returned to his RB1 status as he averaged a stellar 94.0 rushing yards per game with 25.9 PPR points per game over this two-game stretch.
With Walker ruled out for Thursday night Charbonnet should once again be given a heavy workload and be projected to have a top-12 finish this week.
Should I Start Zach Charbonnet in Week 17?
Fantasy managers should feel confident starting Charbonnet in all formats this weekend as an RB1. When given more than eight attempts and four targets in a single game, the sophomore back averaged an impressive 21.5 PPR points per game. During this span (five games), he found the back of the end zone seven times.

This evening he will face the Chicago Bears who have allowed the fourth-most PPR points per game to opposing running backs this season. As a result, Charbonnet should be locked into all lineups as he should be in a great position to be a 'league-winner' during the fantasy championships.
